so far so good

This was breakfast on the second morning in our new 'old' home.
It has been over a week since we moved in and done are the days of take-out food and guilt-free use of paper plates and napkins.
The garage is still a mess, the shower leaks and the dishwasher is not draining properly but the coffee maker is set up and the bidet installed - and that's all that really matters. ^.^

The children are keeping busy designing board games. This is Snow's game, a path from our new home to the pet shop.

And this is Jin's. A fun and challenging game that walks you through the new neighborhood. It even comes with detailed instructions.

I am so happy to be back. ^o^ There is so much to catch up on.

Hi

Good to have you back!

Love the breakfast picture, and the board games look like fun.

I look forward to seeing more pics. Hope the move hasn't been too stressful.

At least you have a coffee maker and bidet!

Really good idea to draw board games for the new 'hood :) Hope your new old home is full of warmth, love and joy. Remember that scene from It's a Wonderful Life where George and Mary Baily help the Martini's move into their new home, giving them gifts and saying:

"Bread! That this house may never know hunger

Salt! That life may always have flavor

Wine! That joy and prosperity may reign forever!"

Any game that involves "flower picking" is a perfect game for me!

Welcome back Seagrape!! I missed you and the whole bunch of kids! You guys are so creative, I am still in awe. It's so much better this way, making their own games. They learn along the way and they appreciate their games much better too. You're such a good role model.

I love those cheery flowers too. It's good to see your creative shots again!
