that unexpected break


enjoying the cool breezy days before winter
wrapping presents
and packing up for our 4-mile move

Goodbye white houses! Goodbye white cars!
Goodbye lollipopped trees and neatly squared bushes!
Perfectly lined palm trees and pesticide-filled grass!
